EMPLOYEE LIFE INSURANCE and AD&D
Through AIG American General, Employee Life benefit is $50,000.  Option to purchase increments of $10,000 subject to plan maximums.

SHORT TERM DISABILITY
Through AIG American General, Employee Life benefit is $50,000Provides 60% monthly to a weekly benefit maximum of $2,000.  Benefits are payable after 7 working days for injury or sickness.  Benefit duration is 13 weeks.

LONG TERM DISABILITY
Through AIG American General, Employee Life benefit is $50,000.  66 2/3% of monthly base salary; with a maximum benefit of $6,000.  Benefits are payable after 90 days of disability.  Benefits are payable as long as you remain disabled up to age 65 (In some instances benefits may be payable after 65)

401(k) PLAN -- CALENDAR YEAR
Eligibility:    First day of the month following date of hire.   Salary deferral:   IRS maximum  of  $15,500 for 2007 & 2008 and participants who reach age 50 by 12/31/2007 & 12/31/2008 can defer $20,500 for 2007 & 2008.

PATENT INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM
As an Intellectual Property company, Sonics considers its patent portfolio and the inventions of its employees very critical to the Company’s future success.  The purpose of this reward program is to provide incentive for Sonics employees and consultants to prepare and file patent applications on behalf of the Company on a timely basis.  This policy also establishes a formal financial reward mechanism and details the timing of such rewards.
