Software Engineer – Simulation Modeling and Infrastructure | | Department | Engineering | | Location | Milpitas, CA | Responsibilities: - Responsible for developing and maintaining SystemC models of transactors and channel adapters.
- Developing and maintaining infrastructure for SystemC modeling.
- Developing and maintaining simulation environment and Graphical User Interface (GUI) in the Sonics Products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience: 3-5 years experience developing software on Solaris/Linux for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) applications.
1-2 years experience developing SystemC models or other SystemC related experience
3-5 years experience developing with C++.
Knowledge of object oriented design, concepts and practices.
Good spoken and written communication skills.
Experience working and interfacing with simulators such as Synopsys VCS, Mentor MTI or Cadence NCVerilog is a plus.
Experience with applications in Python/Tkinter, Java/Eclipse or Tcl/Tk is a plus.
